having a problem with the site

Each time I try to respond to a post, I see a php error message...
Do you need to get a minimum amount of posts to respond in a posting?

Sorry for hijacking your thread, but I'm having a problem too. I can't create a new post under the Welcome Thread. It takes me to a page that says

SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]

Incorrect string value: '\xE2\x99\xA5 \x0A\x0A...' for column 'post_text' at row 1 [1366]

Theres n requirement for posting, so if this doesnt work Inform me, Please try exiting you IE, Firefox, Opera, Chrome, etc and reloading the forums to see if that helps.

When your trying to make a Post are you possibly using any other characters from another language?
Ex. Polish, Swedish, etc

Edit: Also moved to the section best suited for the problem.

For me it's just in English.

I just tried posting again today, and it worked though! Thanks for the help xD Must be my computer D:

This has been resolved I believe. The original issue was in regards to non-English characters, which is was a known issue that no one responded with: viewtopic.php?f=37&t=591.

This has been fixed while I was doing the phpBB upgrade this week.
