[12.30.2009] Server and Client Updates

Post by Koma »

As of the 30th of December in 2009, we are now utilizing eAthena Revision 14215. For precise core changes, click the eAthena link and view the ChangeLog.txt. It's recommended to check the eAthena ChangeLog since it may include information that is not listed here.

Bug Fixes:
  • Tierra Valley 5v5 - The wrong variable was being checked in the case of rewarding players. This is now correctly checking. Adjustments were incorrectly made to prevent the server from trying to give an item count of 0, but that check had a cropped variable check.
  • Sign Quest - As per eAthena, the dancing portion of the Sign Quest has a fix in place for players having issues completing this.
  • Xmas Gift Boxes - Even though eAthena implemented the Xmas Gifts, they never coded anything for them. We have followed iROWiki to the best we could to enable these. However, instead of Antonio's Santa Hat, this now makes it possible to obtain a Louyang NewYear Hat for the upcoming holiday.
  • Prontera Church - We have removed the Christmas decorations from this map early due to issues with other quests.
Other Updates:
  • Weekly Bonus Gift Drop - For this week, the latest collectible hat is Cat Helm [0]. This is continued from last week due to the original update log not being posted.
  • Item Merchie Overhaul - In keeping with the plans to update the Item Merchies to provide specific jobs with their related items such as the Blacksmith guild items, Alchemist bowls, Gunslinger ammo, and Ninja kunais, the Item Merchies now have the ability to provide these quests directly. This saves players the extra hassle of having to travel far to obtain items while keeping with the general requirements. They also maintain the original vendor option with the addition of scrolls for sage classes. As an additional feature, the menus will tailor to your job if applicable.
  • Healer Rename - Originally, the Healers were supposed to be named "Heal-n-Go". I didn't notice this until I was cleaning up the script. This has been updated although minor.
  • Tuning Specialist - In order to provide for all types of players, we have also added a feature to the Tuning Specialist to disable the expanded Item Merchie menu. This will allow players to access the one-click shop interface even after this update.
  • Meteor Assault and Spread Attack - AutoSpellOnSkill is now possible with these skills at twice the chance rate as per eA SVN 14215
