Laggy Server :c

why is the server so laggy? ..
sometimes i freenze for like 5 sec. or more and die after that x.x"
or when i talk to npc it takes over 2 secs. till the window is open.
when i move it takes so long too :c ..
that makes no fun to play q.q

are you on wireless internet?

further more, If you're experiencing spikes, while playing, run a "Start->Run->ping yahoo.com -t" and when you hit a spike, see if your ping "spikes" there as well. If so, then your ISP may have connection issues or if you're on wireless, it may be experiencing lossy quality.

my location is north germany and i use windows vista. :>
and yes ima wireless user xD

tested it with just 4 locations o,o".. hope thats enough o.o

my friends which live here have the same problem with lags ..
and they have other OS and other inet connections :c
maybe it is because of the distance?

edit: no problems with ping o.o

We're sorry about the lag. Kiana and I have been testing the networks across the continent today, and found that the northeast of North America had some slowdowns. This is most likely also causing Trans-Continental lag to Europe. One main reason for this could be the recent hurricane that passed through, but we seemed to have narrowed it down to connections that pass through New York. Hopefully this can be resolved ASAP.

I live in netherlands but I havent that much problems with lagg. Sometimes I freeze and I dc 1 / 2 times a day. But that isnt that much. Only I hate it when you DC if your doing mvp

I'm currently looking into a server move, but this will happen around September 16th at the earliest. I'd like to find a decent location for all players though. So far, our Scranton, PA and Tampa Bay, FL locations have been the laggiest.
