When will pets be Usefull???

Simple question here,
When will pets actually do something.Because Right now they are completely & utterly useless,Giving "1 or 2" stats
is Virtualy null & Void.
when will they FIGHT???

WTF? Pets on loyal tried to fight before this update with stat bonuses... i've never seen it hitting anything -.-

So what's the point?

I got my petite and it gives me 190 aspd for exapmle. Fine by me.
