Error After the New Patch

Yeah i opened notepad and changed the number is bandaid.file to 12, but I still got errors. I just reinstalled the patcher. Im waiting to see if it works.

Update: I reinstalled kRO and Amistr v09012009 and i get this message:

Launch Info 

I am currently using a version 0618 Ragray so i figured it may be the cause, I am DL-ing the torrent atm. Pray for me.

This is immediate when starting it up too, hm? The only explanation I'd have is either sdata.grf or data.grf aren't present or outdated, but I'm unsure as to how they'd become corrupt or missing from one of these patches. Keep me posted. I'll check further into it if there are still issues.

EDIT: The only method I've been able to reproduce these issues are by renaming my data/sdata.grf so they're not recognized. I'm leaning more towards that there are missing files in them. I need to pinpoint what though. If you're still having this problem, I'll give you a debugging client so we can find out what file exactly is causing the issue.

The only OTHER option would be to try moving the files in the "Backup" folder to your main folder (D:\AmistrRO). That folder includes some support files which may be necessary on other operating systems.

It appears that rayray 0618 is not compatible with new patch for some reason.I DL-ed Ragray0624 and used it instead. the game is up.


I dunno if this can be put to the resolved section cos i just left the problem and started from scratch.

At least now I know which installer may be causing the issue. I'll see if I can test that one.
