+1 for new drops. They update everything in this game but not the castle drops xD
Remember the time when that was actually useful =3
(+) FE/SE castle drops
Re: FE/SE castle drops
The thing is that they find it unnecessary to upgrade castle drop. Muff and crap are the treasure box's equivalent to eddga's honey. They are just there as teaser till you get the rarer things (Read: god items.) And isnt like, most of the castles on official already hit 100 and doesnt need invest anyway? Also consider that you have guild dungeon. It's the other benefit of owning a castle which you actually have to work to make use of.
Mail me the muffs if you dont need them :p

Re: FE/SE castle drops
Actually, Muffs, Shoes and Bucks were all highly desirable loot when castles and their drops were implemented. There weren't many other options back then.
In fact, the game has come so far and changed so much, that the loot will be officially changed soon enough. If left vanilla, the drops from castles will not be worth investing for, and will depreciate the value of holding a castle at all. While I would not suggest MVP loot, adding basic gears that one might obtain through a slotting process, killing minibosses, or find at a low drop rate from high level monsters would be adequate. By making such loot drop at a relatively low chance, high invest castles would be extremely valuable.
An interesting alternative is +10 food being rewarded as castle loot in decent quantities, so as to allow it to be distributed through the winning guild.

Re: FE/SE castle drops
Why wouldn't Wools/Tidals drop at 50%? That almost seems too low for a server that drops wools at 3%. Having good drops from WoE castles makes WoE so much more worth it. If it's anything under 50%, then again, it's garbage. Why have creators in your guilds use 750-1k bombs a WoE when all they have is a CHANCE to get 2-3 Wools only to be distributed between 15 people. Wtf?? Use logic.

why do fully geared people with hornet infils woe? wtf?? use logic.Brandline wrote:Why wouldn't Wools/Tidals drop at 50%? That almost seems too low for a server that drops wools at 3%. woe isn't about winning a few pieces of treasury, that's just a side-bonus. woe is about showing that
Re: FE/SE castle drops
If you knew a thing or two about how guilds actual reactions to bad drops are, then you'd realize that the competition level would go up by 100 times if the drops were worth getting, but it's obvious that you don't seeing as though it seems like you came from some scrub server like Destina.Syze wrote:why do fully geared people with hornet infils woe? wtf?? use logic.Brandline wrote:Why wouldn't Wools/Tidals drop at 50%? Droping wool and tidals is not bad, even if htey are easy to get since you will gear your guild with not only +7 but actually go for a +9. I don't think so rare drops like the Morroc Incarnations' are good idea unless they are on really low persent. Maybe some other items that are basic gears and weapons for some classes.Brandline wrote:If you knew a thing or two about how guilds actual reactions to bad drops are, then you'd realize that the competition level would go up by 100 times if the drops were worth getting...
The one that hold the castle of SE don't have guild dungeon since it's not implemented yet. And good luck making a god item with one castle open. That will take almost forever XD Let's not talk about getting people to do the quest and so on.rephikul wrote:The thing is that they find it unnecessary to upgrade castle drop. Suggestion:
Change Muffler with Wool, shoes with tidals, add on low chance Enriched Elunium ?nd Oridecons, put Lich's Bone Wand, Divine Clothes, speed potions, +10 stat food (I liked the idea). No idea for the buckler but no Valkirie drops or any other MVP/Mini Boss drops. Can't say about rates but 50% for wool and tidal is a little bit to high in my opinion.
Re: FE/SE castle drops
If you read earlier, I +1'd this suggestion. I know just what the reactions to bad drops are, your logic / justification is however plain stupid.Brandline wrote: If you knew a thing or two about how guilds actual reactions to bad drops are, then you'd realize that the competition level would go up by 100 times if the drops were worth getting, but it's obvious that you don't seeing as though it seems like you came from some scrub server like Destina.
And guild competition going up by 100 times.. lol? The people who know what they are doing in woe are going to continue to destroy regardless of wools / tidals being added to treasury or not. Don't get me wrong, treasury is a nice side-bonus, but that's all it is: a side-bonus. Guilds don't spend time hunting 1000 ADs so they can get wools/tidals, they spend it to get the castle and to have fun killing other players.
Anyway, +1 to this topic
