Whikebain's Black Cat Ears are broken. They don't say whether or not they take -50% def. The online sources state it does take 50%. Also its not taking 50% its only taking 50 def. Its slightly deceiving, because it seems like a nice hat until you put it on. You might not even notice the -50 if you are not paying attention.
